Ingredients:

  • Pork belly (hand-cut)

  • Soy sauce

  • Sugar

  • Fried shallots

  • Five-spice powder

  • Scallions

  • Water

  • Salt

  • Pepper


Heating Instructions (Defrost First – Recommended for Best Taste):

Stove / Pot:

  1. Fully defrost the braised pork at room temperature or in the fridge.

  2. Pour the pork into a pot and add 50–75 ml of water to keep it moist.

  3. Heat over medium heat for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully warmed.

  4. Serve immediately over rice, noodles, or vegetables and enjoy!

Microwave:

  1. Fully defrost the braised pork at room temperature or in the fridge.

  2. Place the pork in a microwave-safe dish and add 50–75 ml of water.

  3. Cover loosely and microwave on high for 2–3 minutes, stir, then heat for another 2–3 minutes until fully warmed.

  4. Serve immediately over rice, noodles, or vegetables and enjoy!

Tip: Adding 50–75 ml of water prevents the pork from drying out and helps release the rich flavors and aromatic fried shallots.


Storage & Best Before:

  • Keep frozen at -18°C or below

  • Keep frozen for up to 6 months

  • Once thawed, consume immediately
